Cambridge Punt Hire
The epitome of Cambridge and the city’s favourite pastime for adventures, fitness and entertaining guests, self-hire punting is most certainly one of the best activities in the city.
During these tricky times of social distancing, you can take the opportunity to get away from it all and see the city’s exclusive College Backs by punt. Grab one of our rental punts and take your closest family members out as a part of your daily government mandated exercise.
Your punt hire is for 2 hours on the prestigious College Backs, maximising your time out of the house and giving you time to appreciate the new normal!
Enjoy this unique chance to soak up the legendary Cambridge backgrounds on a sunny day in an eerie silence as you see the University’s riverside Colleges during lockdown! Rediscover the spectacular riverside Colleges, bridges and private gardens at the heart of your city.
Create your own punting experience experience in the backdrop that has inspired many poets and writers from Rupert Brook to Lord Byron, from Lord Tennyson to Xu Zhimo! Propose to your girlfriend, practice your photography, create a film short. The quiet College Backs is the perfect place.
Our rental punts are available for personal hire as a part of the social distancing measures that all tourism providers are following. Book our 2 hour punt hire on the College Backs and we’ll see you at our Jesus Green Moorings, just 2 minutes along the Quayside Boardwalk for your departure and return point.
